Beginners Hatha Yoga With Wayne.

A slower paced class for those who wish to practise gently and relax deeply. Particularly suitable for beginners or those returning to yoga after a break.

Classes focus on some of the fine details of yoga postures and breathing, working on both our body and the mind.

Starting with meditation and pranayama (manipulation of the breath) and warm-up postures, followed by standing and seated asanas, and to end a relaxing Savasana. While exploring some of the technical aspects and the effects internally along the way, allowing for an individual and unique approach to our class practice.

Everybody is welcome – ‘If you can breathe, you can practice yoga…’

Sound & Silence – Guided Meditation & Singing bowl relaxation Session.

Sundays – Evenings 8pm – 9pm  – Online Event                                                

Tune in and chill out and give yourself an undistracted 60 mins to switch off from the busy world we currently find ourselves in.
Combining the techniques of pranayama, mindfulness and the subtle healing sounds of the Singing bowls to aid in bringing back a sense of peace to Mind and Body.

Preparation:

Please prepare yourself by finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down, either on a yoga/exercise mat, a chair or your sofa.

Cover yourself with a blanket and place a pillow to support your head. Wear comfortable clothes, and have a bottle of water nearby.
I suggest wearing headphones for the best audio and sound quality via zoom.

Classes will be restricted to a maximum of 6 students and places MUST be pre-booked with the tutor direct, before attendance. Sadly you will not be able to ‘drop-in’ for the foreseeable future. You will be required to bring your own mat and any other aids you like to use.

Gong Led Relaxation

Combining different techniques including gentle movement, pranayama, moving meditation, concentration and mindfulness to bring back a sense of peace to Mind and Body.

I will also use the healing sounds of the Gong and Sing bowls to help tune out the everyday sounds and inducing a sense of peacefulness and a place of deep relaxation.
