Hatha Yoga with Wayne

Im now holding weekly yoga classes on Thursday evenings at the Yoga For harmony Studio in Windsor, 8pm to 9.30pm

On-line and in person (Limitied to six places)

A slower paced but strong class suitable for all levels , age and experience, who wish to practise gently and relax deeply.

Classes focus on some of the fine details of yoga postures and breathing, working on both our body and the mind.

Starting with meditation and pranayama (manipulation of the breath) and warm-up postures, followed by standing and seated asanas, and to end a relaxing Savasana. While exploring some of the technical aspects and the effects internally along the way, allowing for an individual and unique approach to our class practice.

Everybody is welcome – ‘If you can breathe, you can practice yoga…’

In-Person
Classes will be restricted to a maximum of 6 students and places MUST be pre-booked with the tutor direct, before attendance. Sadly you will not be able to ‘drop-in’ for the foreseeable future. You will be required to bring your own mat and any other aids you like to use.

Gong Led Relaxation

Combining different techniques including gentle movement, pranayama, moving meditation, concentration and mindfulness to bring back a sense of peace to Mind and Body.

I will also use the healing sounds of the Gong and Sing bowls to help tune out the everyday sounds and inducing a sense of peacefulness and a place of deep relaxation.

Sound Immersion and Restorative yoga

 

Join me in a Sound Immersion practice with Meditative Gong Bath and Restorative Yoga.

We will dive deep into the art of transformational rest carried by the sounds of Gong, Singing Bowls and drum to tap into acceptance, completeness and peace.

Sound Immersion practices are like a sound massage for the body and mind. Sound healing practices use vibrational sound and frequency to help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace and wellbeing.

To greater amplify the healing effectiveness of a Gong Bath we will use Restorative yoga posses to add a deeper level of relaxation and release. taking an opportunity to slow down and allow yourself to calm the body and mind.

Gently guided through each posture taking you on a journey that soothes the body and calms the mind. To enhance the experience through sound and vibration.

The studio is fully equipped with mats/blankets and bolsters. Please see website for parking details.
